Renuvion® skin tightening is generally performed in combination with other body contouring procedures at Plastic Surgery Reno Tahoe. General anesthesia is utilized, although local anesthesia or sedation can also be used in certain cases. There is no skin excision required, allowing patients to resume their daily routine without having to undergo major downtime. After a careful discussion of your goals and areas of concern, the Renuvion® device is inserted underneath the skin through small entry points. The device then heats to the optimal temperature for tissue contraction, emitting radiofrequency (RF) and helium plasma energy to the collagen and underlying structures. This superior temperature control can allow the tissues to contract quickly and effectively, often accelerating your appointment when compared to other minimally invasive skin tightening technologies.
